Festivals on Stanford Campus

Julia Robinson Math Festival

Each Spring, Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies hosts the Julia Robinson Math Festival on the Stanford campus. Students in grades 5–12 gather to enjoy a multitude of rich activities, and to discover and celebrate the joy and beauty of mathematics in a noncompetitive environment.

Celebration of Mind

Celebration of Mind at Stanford is part of a global celebration held to honor the legacy of Martin Gardner, a popular American writer who pioneered the field of recreational mathematics, and who wrote about mathematical connections in art, magic, music, puzzles, and games. The event is free and open to all ages.
